Chorea



Chorea, disease of the central nervous system causing abnormal, involuntary movements of the limbs, body, and face. Sydenham's chorea (St. Vitus' dance) is a childhood illness associated with rheumatic fever; Huntington's chorea is a rare, fatal hereditary disease of adulthood associated with progressive dementia.
