Cap-Haitien



Cap-Haitien (pop. 70,500), seaport on the north coast of Haiti and the country's second largest city. Under French rule it was the capital of the colony (“the Paris of the Antilles”). Today it has less than 10% of the population of Port-au-Prince, the capital.
