Canterbury bell



Canterbury bell, any of several biennial flowering plants with bell-shaped flowers, in particular the Campanula medium. Found wild in woods and stony places, the canterbury bell does not flower until the second (and final) summer of its life. The plant may grow to 3 ft (91 cm) and has hairy, oval leaves.
