Bougainvillea



Bougainvillea, ornamental tropical and subtropical flowering vine (genus Bougainvillaea) named for the French navigator and explorer, Louis Antoine de Bougainville. The flower clusters are white or creamy-colored, each surrounded by three large floral bracts that may range from crimson or purple to yellow or white.
