Vicente Blasco Ibáñez



Blasco Ibáñez, Vicente (1867–1928), Spanish antimonarchist politician and novelist. His naturalistic novels include Reeds and Mud (1902), Blood and Sand (1909), and the World War I novel The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (1916). He was imprisoned dozens of times for his political activities.
