Bighorn River



Bighorn River, river in the Wind River Canyon in Wyoming and flowing through Montana, where it joins the Yellowstone River. Much of its 335 mi (539 km) course runs through deep canyons. Dams and reservoirs provide irrigation, flood control, and hydroelectric power.
