Alban Berg



Berg, Alban (1885–1935), Austrian composer of expressive 12-tone music. A pupil of Schoenberg, he adopted his technique in such works as his violin concerto (1935) and his operas, Wozzeck (1925), and the unfinished opera Lulu.
