Beeswax



Beeswax, yellow secretion of the glands on the abdomen of worker bees, who use it to make honeycombs. After the honey is removed, the honeycomb is melted in boiling water to yield the beeswax, which is used in such products as candles, chewing gum, cosmetics, and polishes.
