Beagle



Beagle, small, short-legged hound originally bred for hunting hares. There are 2 breads of beagle in the United States. The larger growes up to 15 in (38 cm) tall, the smaller up to 13 in (33 cm). Beagles weigh from 20 to 40 lb (9–18 kg).
