Robert Abram Bartlett



Bartlett, Robert Abram (1875–1946), arctic explorer who commanded the Roosevelt for Robert E. Perry's 1905–09 expedition. In 1913 he led his own expedition. Bartlett explored Alaska in 1925, served the U.S. government during World War II, and wrote several books.
