Connie Mack



Mack, Connie (Cornelius McGillicuddy; 1862–1956), U.S. baseball manager and owner. Known for his work and dedication to baseball, Mack helped establish the American League. As owner and manager of the Philadelphia Athletics (1901–50), he led his team to victory in 5 World Series. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937.
