Lumpfish



Lumpfish, common name for various fishes of the Cyclopteridae family, that inhabit cold, northern ocean waters. They have short, thick-set bodies with scaleless skin. Lumpfish have strong sucking discs on their underside, which they use to hold themselves to the sea bottom.
