Lot

Lot, in the Old Testament, son of Abraham's brother Haran. He lived in the city of Sodom. Warned that both Sodom and Gomorrah were to be destroyed because of their wickedness, he fled with his wife and 2 daughters. Told not to look back, his wife disobeyed and was turned into a pillar of salt (Gen. 11–14:19).
