Loch Lomond



Loch Lomond, largest lake in Scotland, located in the highlands about 20 mi (32 km) north of the city of Glasgow. It is 23 mi (37 km) long and 5 mi (8 km) wide at its widest point. Loch Lomond is the subject of a familiar Scottish folk song, and Scottish clans in ancient times used its shores as a gathering place.
