Lincoln



Lincoln (pop. 213,641), capital and second-largest city of Nebraska, 56 mi (90 km) southwest of Omaha. A trade center for livestock and grain, transportation hub, and industrial and educational center, Lincoln also produces motor scooters, freight cars, rubber tires, and electrical appliances.
