Aldo Leopold

Leopold, Aldo (1886–1948), American outdoors enthusiast, naturalist, and conservationist. His writings include Game Management and A Sand County Almanac. An employee of the U.S. Forest Service (1909–27), he later held a faculty position at the University of Wisconsin.
