Lake Huron



Lake Huron, one of the 5 Great Lakes, 206 mi (332 km) long and 183 mi (295 km) wide, with an area of about 23,000 sq mi (60,000 sq km). Lake Huron is bordered by the Canadian province of Ontario on the north, east, and southeast, and by Michigan on the west and southwest. It is part of the St. Lawrence Seaway and is heavily used by maritime commercial traffic.
