Kerry blue terrier



Kerry blue terrier, breed of dog produced by the union of the Irish terrier and the Dandie Dinmont. Named for County Kerry in Ireland, where it was originally bred in the 1700s to herd sheep and cows, the Kerry blue has a thin, elongated body, stands about 18–19 inches tall (46–49 cm), and weighs 33–38 pounds (15–17 kg).
