Buster Keaton



Keaton, Buster (Joseph Francis Keaton; 1895–1966), U.S. silent-film comedian and director. In such films as The Navigator (1924) and The General (1927), masterpieces of comic inventiveness, he created the character of a deadpan innocent in conflict with malevolent machinery. Keaton designed and performed his own elaborate and often dangerous film stunts.
