Jeremiah

Jeremiah, book of the Old Testament, 24th in the Authorized Version, second of the Major Prophets. It tells of the prophecies of Jeremiah, who called for moral reform, threatening the population with doom otherwise. He continued prophesying in Egypt after Jerusalem fell to Babylon.
