Jasper National Park



Jasper National Park, park in the Canadian Rockies of western Alberta, established 1907. Covering an area of 4,200 sq mi (10,900 sq km), it is a scenic preserve of peaks, glaciers, lakes, rivers, canyons, waterfalls, and hot springs. Many vanishing species are protected, including wolves, bears, and herds of elk.
