Gustav Husák



Husák, Gustav (1913–91), Czechoslovakian Communist leader. Taking a pro-Moscow line after 1968, he replaced Secretary Dubek as leader of the Communist Party in 1969 He served as president of Czechoslovakia from 1975 to 1987.
