Hungarian



Hungarian, or Magyar, one of the Ungro-Finnic languages in the Uralic group. It is spoken mainly in Hungary, but also by groups in Czechoslovakia, Romania, and Yugoslavia. Its 6 dialects do not differ widely. Standard Hungarian is the speech of the Budapest area.
