Honey

Honey, sweet substance made through enzyme action by bees from the nectar of flowers. As a sweetener, there is very little difference between honey and sucrose (table sugar), although the former does contain minimal quantities of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. Honey is available in comb or syrup form. There are different types depending on what flowers the bees have fed on; some popular varieties are sage, clover, and wildflower.
