Hestia



Hestia, in Greek mythology, goddess of the hearth. She was also worshiped as protector of the home and the nation, as well as the guardian of fire. The oldest child of Cronus and Rhea, she helped her brother, Zeus, overthrow Cronus's rule over earth and was rewarded by Zeus with the largest portion of the people's material sacrifices. Her Roman counterpart was Vesta.
