Hecuba



Hecuba, in Greek mythology, second wife of Priam, king of Troy and mother to Hector, Paris, and Polydorus. She was taken as a slave by Odysseus after the Trojan War. Upon discovering that King Polymestor of Thrace had murdered Polydorus, Hecuba blinded him and killed his two sons.
