Harrier



Harrier, breed of dog developed for fox and hare hunting, possibly as long ago as A.D. 1,000 Harriers stand about 21 in. (50 cm) tall and weigh 35 to 55 lbs (16 to 25 kg). Compact and sturdy, with a keen sense of smell, they have been used in the U.S. for rabbit hunting since colonial times.
