Handicraft

Handicraft, name given to the process of making objects by hand; also refers to the products of that process. Traditional handicrafts include basket-weaving, carpentry, carving, ceramics, embroidery, knitting, sewing, and leather-work. The teaching of handicrafts has been widely included in school curricula and is also used in occupational therapy.
