Habitat



Habitat, environment of an animal or plant. All living organisms can tolerate a certain amount of variation in their environment. Within the major divisions of habitat (sea water, fresh water, desert, swamp, etc.) there are minor factors, such as temperature, acidity, rainfall, and the presence of other organisms.
