Guinea pig

Guinea pig (Cavia porcellus), domestic pet related to the cavies, South American rodents. It has a plump body, no tail, and extremely short legs. Guinea pigs are generally 6–10 in (15–25 cm) long, and weigh 1–2 lb (450–900 g).
