Guanaco



Guanaco, wool-bearing member of the camel family, found on the mountains or plains of South America. Guanacos have long, thick, reddish brown hair above and white hair below, with a grayish head. They feed on grass and small plants and grow 3 1/2 to 4 ft (107–122 cm) high at the shoulder.
