Golden Gate Bridge

Golden Gate Bridge, bridge spanning the entrance to San Francisco Bay, Calif., built in 1933–37. Its 4,200 ft (1,280 m) central span, between 2,746 ft (227 m) towers, is the second longest in the world and carries 6 traffic lanes.
