R(ichard) Buckminster Fuller

Fuller, R(ichard) Buckminster (1895–1983), U.S. inventor, philosopher, author, and mathematician. He was a prolific source of original ideas for maximizing efficiency in numerous technologies (he called it the Dymaxion principle). He is best known for his concept “Spaceship Earth” and for designing the geodesic dome.
