Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, allegorical biblical figures (Revelation 6:1–8). The red horse's rider represents war; the black's, famine; and the pale horse's, death. The rider on the white horse is usually taken to represent Christ.
