Frantz Omar Fanon



Fanon, Frantz Omar (1925–61), French black psychoanalyst and social philosopher. He condemned racism in his book Black Skin, White Masks (1952). In The Wretched of the Earth (1961) he advocated extreme violence against whites as a cathartic expression for black people.
