Extrasensory perception

Extrasensory perception (ESP), communication or perception without use of sight, hearing, taste, touch, or smell. ESP includes telepathy (perception of the thoughts of others), clairvoyance (knowledge of distant objects), and precognition (foreknowledge of events). Although research into ESP continues through the field of parapsychology, most scientists feel that no convincing evidence of it has ever been offered.
