Eucalyptus



Eucalyptus, any of a genus (Eucalyptus) of tall evergreen trees of the myrtle family, indigenous to Australia. The leaves of some species are used for medicinal purposes. The blue gum (E. globulus) is the best-known eucalyptus grown in the U.S.
