Lloyd Cassel Douglas

Douglas, Lloyd Cassel (1868–1951), Protestant minister and novelist. The author of works such as Magnificent Obsession (1929) and The Robe (1942), he was mainly interested in inspiring religious feeling; his fiction, however, achieved wide popular appeal.
