Dorians



Dorians, people of ancient Greece. Originating from the lower Balkans, they probably defeated the Achaeans and conquered the Peloponnese between 1100 and 950 B.C., subsequently extending their influence to the Aegean Islands, Crete, Sicily, and parts of Asia Minor, Africa, and Italy.
