Direct Selling Association, U.S. organization of some 150 companies that sell goods or services directly to the public. Founded in 1910, the group monitors federal legislation and maintains a lobby on Capitol Hill. Products marketed by DSA members include clothing, housewares, jewelry, cosmetics, and reference books.
