Order of De Molay



De Molay, Order of, international organization of boys and young men between the ages of 13 and 21. Each local chapter is affiliated with a group of Masons. The membership is dedicated to upholding seven virtues: filial love, reverence for God, courtesy, friendship, fidelity, cleanliness, and patriotism. Founded in 1919, the Order is named for Jacques de Molay (1243–1314), the last Grand Master of the Knights Templars, a group of French Crusaders.
