Owen D. Young



Young, Owen D. (1874–1962), U.S. lawyer, industrial executive, and diplomat. An extrenely successful businessperson, he is chiefly remembered as an international diplomat. Young presided at the 1929 Paris Reparations Conference and produced the Young Plan, a schedule for German World War I reparations payments, which was considered a triumph of diplomacy.
