Voice of America



Voice of America (VOA), radio division of the International Communications Agency (formerly the U.S. Information Agency), established in 1942 to explain the U.S. role in World War II. Its network now broadcasts, in English and other languages, a favorable view of life in the United States to many (chiefly Communist) countries.
