Vega



Vega, or Alpha Lyrae, brightest main-sequence star in the constellation Lyra in the northern hemisphere, the fourth-brightest star in the night sky. The star is surrounded by a shell of solid particles indicating that it may be a solar system in a formative state. Vega is 26 light years away and is expected to become earth's polar star c.A.D. 14,000.
