Unicycle



Unicycle, single-wheeled vehicle with pedals, a seat mounted above the wheel, and no handlebars. The rider moves it by pedalling and can change direction by pedalling backward or forward or by shifting his or her weight. Unicycles were first used in the 19th century by circus performers, who often juggled objects as they rode.
