Ulysses



Ulysses, or Odysseus, legendary hero of ancient Greece, son and successor of King Laertes of Ithaca, and husband of Penelope. He was the crafty counselor of the Trojan War (described in Homer's Iliad) and the subject of Homer's Odyssey, a recount of 10 years of adventures and obstacles faced by Ulysses in his effort to return home after the war.
