Uffizi Palace

Uffizi Palace, 16th-century palace in Florence, Italy, built by Giorgio Vassari for Cosimo I de' Medici as a public office building. It houses one of the world's finest art collections, rich in classical, Dutch, Flemish, and Italian Renaissance paintings and sculptures.
