Paolo Uccello



Uccello, Paolo (c. 1397–1475), Florentine early Renaissance painter, noted for his use of perspective. His best-known works are the Creation and Noah scenes (1431–50) in Santa Maria Novella, Florence, and the three richly decorative panels of The Battle of San Romano (1455–60).
