Ubangi River



Ubangi River, chief northern tributary of the Zaire (Congo) River, in central Africa. Formed by the junction of the Mbomu and Uele rivers, it flows 700 mi (1,130 km) west and south, forming part of Zaïre's northwest border with the Central African Republic.
