Triggerfish



Triggerfish, fish belonging to the Balistidae family, found in tropical coastal waters. It measures less than 1.5 ft (46 cm) in length, is colorful, and has a round, flat body. When threatened, it uses one of its spines to “trigger” a spinal enlargement, thus allowing it to lock itself into tight spaces.
